Kas - Custom Design

Kas approached Paddington Jeweller with a selection of rough Queensland light opals, sourced directly from the mining region and held for some time before beginning the design journey. Her vision was to identify the most captivating stone, have it expertly cut and polished, and transform it into a timeless piece she could wear every day.

One standout Australian boulder opal was selected for its natural colour play and organic character. The stone was carefully shaped to enhance its inherent beauty while preserving the raw individuality that makes each opal unique.

We designed a refined, minimalist pendant setting to allow the opal to take centre stage. Set in 9kt white gold, the clean lines and understated finish ensure the gemstone remains the focal point, resulting in an elegant and versatile necklace suitable for any occasion.

This bespoke creation reflects our approach to custom made jewellery in Sydney — thoughtful design, expert craftsmanship, and a deep respect for the natural beauty of Australian gemstones.
