The website and the online store made available at URLs www.onlinejewelleryco.com.au and www.ojco.com.au (“website”) is operated by OJ Co Pty Ltd trading as The Online Jewellery Company (ABN 82 609 342 010) (“we”, “us”, “our”). “You” and “your” are reference to the person accessing or using our website.

Welcome to The Online Jewellery Company, where we offer jewellery discoveries from every corner of the globe.

We want your experience to be a discovery too, so to get the best out of our website, please read our Terms and Conditions ("Terms"), as your use of our website shows your acceptance of our Terms. When you place an order, you agree to be bound by our Terms. We may make changes to our website regularly and may update the Terms at any time. Any changes to these Terms will be effective on the date they are posted on our website and by continuing to use our Website you accept the updated Terms. It is your responsibility to check the current Terms regularly to be sure you're up to date.

Our website is a showcase of items both from our warehouse as well as our suppliers. When you place an order with us on www.ojco.com.au, we are here to make sure you receive your order in time, and as promised.

1. YOUR ORDER

When you place your order with us at www.ojco.com.au, you will pay the total order price as advertised on our site at the time of your order. This may include shipping and insurance charges based on the shipping options that you select, and we’ll show you these separately on your invoice. All amounts are stated in Australian dollars and all prices include Australian GST (where applicable). 

We want you to get your order as quickly as possible, so we’ll process your order the following business day to make sure you’ll be wearing your jewellery sooner! It will then be shipped to you according to the method of delivery you have selected.

Once your order is on the way, we’ll send you an email notification with a tracking number and you can watch its progress every step of the way.

If something goes wrong and we can’t deliver your order, or if there is a delay, we will contact you the following business day to let you know why.  If something goes really wrong and we can’t fulfil your order within our timeframes, we will refund you the same way you paid, or offer you a credit, for the full value of the item including any shipping costs paid.

We will use our best effort to make sure you will receive what you order, however our products are made available for purchase on a ‘first in first out’ basis and are only available whilst stocks last. 

2. PAYMENT

Once your payment has been processed through our secure PayPal payment gateway, your order will be considered final and the processing can get underway. PayPal accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express. If your payment is not authorised for any reasons, we may cancel your order.

We can cancel any order that appears suspect or fraudulent and all such transactions will be reported to the relevant authorities for further investigation.

Please note that the delivery can only be made once the goods are ready for shipment, some items that are being manufactured to your requirements or that are coming from overseas, are not ready for immediate delivery. These shipping times apply when your goods are ready for shipment. We will not be responsible for any delay or failure to deliver if the delay or failure is caused by something which is beyond our reasonable control such as riots, attacks, strikes or natural disasters.

3.2. Delivery Options - Outside Australia

We'd love to ship to you! Contact our friendly Customer Service team for a quote on deliveries outside of Australia at [email protected]. You are responsible for any taxes or customs charges which may apply in your country. Customs clearance procedures may cause delay in deliveries.

3.3. Security

All orders will require a signature on delivery. If you won't be available, please be sure that an adult who is authorised to sign for your parcel is available at your designated shipping address. If you failed to take delivery or provided an incorrect delivery address, your order will be returned to us.

4. TRACKING YOUR ORDER

We understand you'll want to know when your jewellery is going to arrive so you can sparkle away on the weekend! That's why we'll send out an email notification the day your order is shipped, including a tracking number - watch the progress of your order all the way to your front door!

4.1. I have ordered the wrong item

If you've already placed your order and you need to cancel or change the details for any reason, please email our Customer Service team on [email protected] or call +61 (2) 93310888 during our business hours 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, and we'll work with you to make the changes where possible.

5. RETURNS

5.1. Change of Mind

We love our jewellery, and we know you will too, but if for any reason it's not quite right, we offer a full money back guarantee on the purchase price of your item.

Returning an item is simple:

(a) Call us on +61 (2) 9331 0888 during our business hours 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, or email us at [email protected] to log your request for return and we will provide you with a returns authorisation number.
(b) You can then log your return on our website, by logging into your account www.ojco.com.au/myaccount and clicking Product Returns, then following the prompts.
(c) The item must be unworn and in its original condition, including any item tags.
(d) You must return the item packaged together with the original box/packaging you received with all the documents and tags in place as originally received. Please include all original certificates with the return.
(e) You must return the item within 30 days from the date of receipt of your item.
(f) Personalised items cannot be returned: if the item was made specifically to your requirements, engraved or personalised for you, we are unable to accept these items back for return (unless received damaged or faulty).
(g) Once we receive your return, we'll let you know the same day so you can rest assured we have received your item back.

We will process your refund within seven working days of receiving your item. This refund guarantee only applies to unused and undamaged products, returned in their original condition in accordance with these Terms. If you received a gift from us with your order, you must also return the gift with the product for us to process your refund.

5.2. It is not what I ordered

If we've sent you the wrong item, we are very sorry! While mistakes will happen from time to time, of course we will exchange it for you or give a full refund, and we will also pay for the return postage.

We will also do our very best to get the right item to you when you need it, at no extra cost to you.

All you need to do is:

(a) Call us on +61 (2) 9331 0888 during our business hours 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, or email us at [email protected] to log your request for return and we will provide you with a returns authorisation number.
(b) You can then log your return on our website, by logging into your account www.ojco.com.au/myacount and clicking Product Returns, then following the prompts.
(c) The item must be unworn and in its original condition, including any item tags.
(d) Package your item together with the original box/packaging you received with all the documents and tags in place as originally received. Please include all original certificates with the return.
(e) You must return the item within 14 days from date of you receiving and signing for your item.
(f) Personalised items cannot be returned: if the item was made specifically to your requirements, engraved or personalised for you, we are unable to accept these items back for return (unless received damaged or faulty).
(g) Attach the Reply Paid label we send you to your parcel and take it to your nearest Post Office.
(h) We'll let you know the same day we receive your parcel so you know that we're working on rectifying the problem for you as quickly as we can.

We will process your exchange within five business days, or a refund within seven days of receiving your return.

5.3. It was received damaged or faulty

We are very sorry to hear you've received a faulty or defective item. We want you to love the jewellery you buy from us, please email us at [email protected] or call us on +61 (2) 9331 0888 during our business hours 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, and we'll organise a new piece or a refund for you as soon as possible.

Once you contact us, we'll assess your return with urgency to confirm if it falls under warranty and will call you to discuss your options of refund, repair or exchange.

5.4. Two-Year Warranty

We stand behind the quality of our product: all items showcased on www.ojco.com.au are covered by a two year warranty, unless otherwise specified on the product details page (please check this at the time of purchase).

The warranty covers the item for all manufacturing defects and we will, at our option, repair or replace products which are proven to be defective due to the manufacturing defects. You must give us a proof of purchase (e.g. invoice or receipt) in making a warranty claim. Our warranty does not cover:

(a) items that, in our opinion, have been misused;
(b) normal wear and tear;
(c) malicious or accidental damage;
(d) leather and rubber bands and necklaces; and
(e) battery replacements on watches.

You also have rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. 

6. PRODUCT DETAIL

The detail of each item on www.ojco.com.au has been prepared by our supply partners. In the unlikely event that any information contained on the site is incorrect, we will update this information with urgency and notify you as soon as possible. Some products may appear larger or smaller than their actual size and colour may vary slightly on our website.

7. TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS

Information, including prices, may be inaccurately displayed on our website due to system or typographical error. We do not honour inaccurate or erroneous prices. If we've made an error and an item is listed at an incorrect price, we reserve the right correct any and all errors when they do occur and we may refuse or cancel any orders placed for this item, including where orders have been confirmed and paid but not yet despatched. We will notify you of such cancellation. If your credit card has already been charged and your order is cancelled, we will issue a refund immediately to your credit card for the amount you've paid with our sincere apologies. 

8. YOUR ACCOUNT WITH US

Please keep your details safe! We want your shopping experience with us to be safe and secure, and for this reason, please do not give your username and password to anyone else. We assume that any use of our website using your user name and password is you, and as such, you are responsible for any such use.

If you are made aware of any improper use, or if you disclose your user name and password to anyone else, please contact us immediately during our business hours 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday on +61 (2) 9331 0888 or at [email protected] for allocation of a new user name and password.

10. GENERAL

We are committed to providing you with the very best of service. However, if we are unable to fulfil our commitment to you due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, we will not be held liable for any loss or compensation.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales Australia. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.

Your purchase of the item is transacted electronically, and as such, you agree that communication may be electronic for all aspects of an item purchase, including by sending emails.

Please make sure when using our website that you:

(a) Provide us with up to date an accurate information.
(b) You use this website for the purpose for which it was intended. Do not violate any applicable laws, or use this website in such a way that is prohibited by these Terms.
(c) Be yourself! Please don't impersonate another person; we want to see YOU shopping with us.
(d) We want everyone to be able to access our website, please do not distribute viruses, corrupted files or any similar programs that may damage or interrupt the operation of this website, or damage the operation or use of any hardware or software associated with this website.
(e) Respect the privacy of other users of our website, do not collect or store information about other users of this website.
(f) Do not conduct any other activities that may prevent other people from using or enjoying this website.

The Online Jewellery Company may at any time and at its sole discretion, terminate your use and block or prevent your future access to and use of the website.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we have no liability to you or any other person for any loss of or anticipated profit, loss of data, loss of use, damage to goodwill or loss due to delay, or other direct or indirect loss or damage however caused which may be suffered or incurred or which may arise from or in connection with your use of our website or your use of or reliance upon any of the information, services and/or materials contained in it or provided by it to you or our negligence or our breach of our obligations under these Terms. We do not warrant that any of the functions contained on our website or your access to our website will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any notifications, will be made in a timely manner, or at all.

The website is owned and operated by OJ Co Pty Ltd. All materials on this site, including the text, site design, logos, graphics, icons and images, are solely our properties. No materials from this site may be copied, reproduced, modified, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted or distributed in any form or by any means without our prior written permission. All other rights not expressed in detail here are reserved.
