Jack once acquired a small ancient Greek coin and wished to have it set into a signet ring for his pinky finger. The coin’s design was aged and worn. Inspired by the concept of an intaglio ring—where a design is engraved into the surface to create a recessed image—we crafted the ring to preserve the coin’s delicate surface. To retain its antique and rustic character, the coin’s oxidised finish was preserved, complemented by a brushed texture on the ring itself.

DESCRIPTION

Jack brought us a treasured ancient Greek coin—its surface worn with age, rich in history. He envisioned it as a meaningful pinky ring. Inspired by traditional intaglio techniques, we designed a signet ring that would showcase the coin without compromising its integrity.

Crafted in sterling silver with a matte brushed finish, this custom piece preserves the coin’s oxidised character and rustic charm. The result? A timeless heirloom with soul—a wearable piece of history and a true one-of-a-kind.
