Amanda M - Custom Sapphire Ring

Amanda came to us with a treasured antique ring, centred around a remarkable oval Ceylon sapphire, rich in colour and full of character. While the piece held deep sentimental value, she envisioned something more refined — a design that felt modern, wearable, and uniquely her own.

Together, we reimagined the ring, carefully preserving the original gemstones while transforming the overall aesthetic. The sapphire was repositioned horizontally to create a more contemporary silhouette, allowing its natural beauty and proportions to truly stand out.

The surrounding pavé-set diamonds were meticulously reset in white gold, enhancing their brilliance and creating a luminous frame around the centre stone. To complete the design, a warm rose gold band with bold double lines was introduced — adding both structure and contrast, while ensuring comfort for everyday wear.

The result is a striking yet timeless piece — a balance between heritage and modern design. A ring that honours its past, while being beautifully suited to Amanda’s present.
