Josh wanted to propose his partner with a ring set with an iconic Australian Sapphire. This Australian Parti Colour sapphire has been mined and cut in Inverell NSW.
It is untreated and was locally cut.

Parti-coloured sapphires are truly unique gemstones. During crystal formation, variations in trace elements cause distinct zones of blue, green, and yellow to develop within the stone. Some sapphires exhibit only two of these hues, while others display all three. Because of this natural colour zoning, they are often referred to as bi-coloured or polychrome sapphires.
